HVAD?

WHAT?

A piece of entrance hall furniture in certified wood and rattan for the busy family with children, with space to hang coats and jackets, store mittens and scarves in a woven nest and a place where adults and children can tie their shoelaces comfortably on a small bench.

HVORDAN?

HOW?

A collection of photos of everyday entrance halls taken at the homes of families with children from among her circle of friends. A glimpse of a reed warbler's woven nest from a nature programme on DR (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation). A couple of Danish design classics. And high demands on sustainability, aesthetics and functionality.

HVORFOR?

WHY?

These were some of the designer’s sources of inspiration for this multifunctional piece of entrance hall furniture. The aim of the design of this piece was to offer the modern family with children a piece of furniture that solves both practical and functional needs and also makes an aesthetic statement in the home.
