Et webunivers af tang.
A web universe of seaweed.
The Danish waters abound in healthy and tasty seaweed, but few Danes know how to turn seaweed into food. That's why the designer has created a website with a tempting seaweed universe, filled with approaches, recipes and stories to lure people to consume more seaweed.
During his upbringing in his Japanese family in Hawaii, seaweed was a natural and beloved item on the menu for the designer, both at restaurants and at home. Since Denmark, like Japan and Hawaii, is surrounded by the sea, he was surprised that Danes do not take advantage of this obvious resource, fresh from their own water's edge. Seaweed absorbs more CO2 from the atmosphere than trees, and combined with a host of health benefits, it makes this natural resource something of a super-food that we should eat much more of.
