BE TOGETHER is the physical setting for a place where teenagers can hang out with friends – have a good time, play and chill. The physical setting is designed to stimulate a fun and meaningful way of being together, where the young people feel good about themselves and others.
Designeren både observerede teenagere og lod dem være med i designprocessen gennem workshops, da hun konstruerede denne løsning. Resultatet er et fleksibelt socialt rum, bygget som moduler af træ og bløde tekstiler, og som kan opstilles i skoler eller hvor unge ellers samles for at snakke, lege og spille med hinanden.
In constructing this solution the designer observed teenagers and also let them be part of the design process through workshops. The result is a flexible social space, built as modules of wood and soft textiles, which can be set up in schools or other places where young people gather to talk, play and engage in games with each other.
Der har aldrig været flere teenagere i verden end i dag – men desværre er mange udfordrede på trivsel og sociale kompetencer. Disse gode fysiske rammer vil stimulerer eksisterende og nye sociale relationer.
There have never been more teenagers in the world than there are today, but unfortunately many of them are challenged in terms of well-being and social competencies. This pleasant physical setting will stimulate existing and novel social relationships.
